We have just finished a number of jobs in Dublin which all required electric gates to secure entry into various compounds. The first set of industrial automatic gates was at DN Freight Services in Clondalkin. These gates were five metres in width per leaf leaving a total opening of ten metres in width. The reason for the massive width was to allow long articulated trucks to turn into the compound from the main road without the peers impeding the path of the trucks entering. The gates are triggered by a GSM Dial To Open unit which has all of the drivers numbers stored in its memory. The GSM Dial To Open will log up to ten thousand entries so that it is possible to see which drivers entered and at what time in the case of a security breach.
